Program
-Pick up at the Hotel;
-Departure to Caparica beaches with stop at Capuchos belvedere (from where we can see
Caparica coastline); Proceed to Aparição farm passing by Caparica and Fonte da Telha
beaches and then go into the pine-wood through Apostiça where the bumpy ride starts.
-The tour will continue towards Meco Beach, passing by Albufeira’s Lagoon to observe a
birds natural reserve. Stop for breakfast in Meco beach;
-The ride continues towards Espichel cape, stopping in several promontories, with
astonishing views. When in Cape Espichel a quick stop will be done to visit this place with
some of the highest cliffs on the Portuguese coastline. After this stop over, the ride continues
to Vila Nogueira de Azeitão where we will stop at a wine cellar for Muscatel wine tasting;
-We will return to the jeep after the wine tasting and will continue the tour to Vila Fresca de
Azeitão for a lunch that will be based on the local traditional cuisine (included at request);
-After lunch we will walk up to a seventeenth century glazed tiles gallery to see live how
glazed tiles are made in Portugal;
-Afterwards we proceed to Arrábida Mountain, through a splendid route, with stopovers in
places for fantastic views of the mountain and the ocean.
-Return to the Hotel.
